Introducing Claudia Tullos-Leonard

Gallery Fifty Six would like to welcome our newest artist, Claudia Tullos-Leonard. Claudia will retire soon from FedEx so that she can devote her time to painting.  She has been accepted into the University of Memphis Master of Arts program. As you shall see, Claudia is an incredible painter!  We have scheduled a one-person show of her work for April 2014.  We are very excited and grateful to have Claudio Tullos-Leonard as one of our artists.

Coming To Memphis!

Argentine artist Mariana De Marchi will arrive in Memphis on Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Besides touring the Bluff City, Mariana is planning on painting an original mural on the east fence, next to the gallery drive.  Check this site often for updates.  We plan to have a reception for Mariana, and you are invited!

Michael Whitaker - The Visions Project

We are pleased to announce that the Vision Project currently is displaying photos from Michael Whitaker's  "On the Road to Forever: The Elvis Phenomenon" project in their online gallery. The group approached Michael to request that he consider exhibiting this project in their gallery and asked that he submit 60 photos from which they would display 28.
