The paintings are hung and the sculptures are in place. Gallery Fifty Six's Second Annual Winter Invitational opens this Friday at 5:00 PM, and it's a great looking show! Included are photographs by Mary Stubbs; paintings by Chuck Johnson, Trevor Simpson, Janet Beaver, Jay Hankins, and Carol DeForest; sculpture by Niles Wallace, Eli Gold, and Carol DeForest; pottery by Niles Wallace and Bryan Blankenship, and mixed media works by Sara Howell and Bryan Blankenship. There is something for everyone!In Gallery C are over 30 paintings, prints, and drawings by Argentine artist Mariana De Marchi. As an added attraction, Gallery Fifty Six will Skype 'live' with Mariana. Come and ask the artist some questions or comment on her work.
